Student Exchange between UPSI and Universitas Islam Negeri Mataram
In the past, more than 20 students participated in a Student Exchange Program between two universities, UPSI and Universitas Islam Negeri Mataram. The program facilitated cultural and academic exchange opportunities for the students from both institutions. During their time abroad, the students engaged in diverse learning experiences, fostering cross-cultural understanding and enhancing their academic perspectives. The Student Exchange Program contributed to the broader goal of promoting international collaboration and enriching the educational journey of the participating students.


Faculty of Human Development Activities
On September 20, 2023, all members and staff of Faculty of Human Development had joined an outdoor activity where most of the activities were required all the participants to involve in physical activities. The faculty provided a full set of track, jacket, and Adidas shirt for each participant. Dr. Romarzila Omar was one of the faculty staff that joined the program.


Opening Ceremony for Tadika Sofazz Soleh Graduation Day
On February 12, 2023, Dr. Romarzila Omar was invited to the inauguration Graduation Ceremony of Tadika Soffaz Soleh. The ceremony, which took place in the past, was a joyous occasion that brought immense happiness to the children and their families. The event was marked by celebratory moments, creating lasting memories for all in attendance. Dr. Romarzila presence added significance to the ceremony, highlighting the importance of early childhood education and the achievements of the young graduates.


A Visit To Polytechnic and Kolej Komuniti Department
Dr. Romarzila Omar and several fellow lecturers from UPSI visited the Polytechnic and Kolej Komuniti Department for the International Conference in Action Research and Innovation in Educational Pedagogy (ICARIEP 2023). This visit, which occurred in the past, aimed to establish collaborative connections and promote engagement between UPSI and the Polytechnic and Kolej Komuniti Department. The delegation actively participated in discussions and shared insights with the faculty and staff, contributing to the overall academic discourse during the conference. Dr. Omar and her colleagues played a crucial role in fostering meaningful interactions and knowledge exchange with the visited institutions.


Dean's Council Seminar
On December 10, 2022, UPSI hosted the Dean's Council Seminar, with CPRI, UPSI serving as the organizer for this significant event. Dr. Romarzila actively participated as one of the attendees in this seminar, which occurred in the past. The event garnered substantial participation, with more than 100 attendees and 90 presenters sharing action research insights from various institutes. The seminar, organized by CPRI, proved to be a fruitful platform for academic exchange, collaboration, and the dissemination of valuable research findings among the participants. The seminar highlighted UPSI's commitment to fostering scholarly engagement and collaborative endeavors within the academic community.


UPSI First Monthly Assembly 2023
On January 11, 2023, Dr. Romarzila Omar actively participated in the UPSI First Monthly Assembly for 2023, where many staff members were also involved. The assembly, which took place in the past, was held at Padang Kawad and involved various outdoor activities. Dr. Omar's engagement in the event showcased her commitment to a collaborative and inclusive university culture. The outdoor setting at Padang Kawad provided a refreshing and dynamic environment for the assembly, fostering camaraderie and team spirit among the staff. The assembly served as a valuable platform for communication, team-building, and the exchange of ideas within the UPSI community.

Dr. Romarzila Omar has successfully attended and presented her paper 'The Development of An Interactive Science Literacy model Based on Folk Stories for Chinese Children Using Dialogic Reading Techniques' in the International Conference on Mathematical and Statistical Physics Computational Science, Education and Communication inIstanbul, Turkiye.


Mini KOLOKIUM : Jurnal Penyelidikan Profesionalisme Guru
On February 23, 2022, Dr. Romarzila Omar served as a journal referee for the Mini Colloquium of Teachers Professionalism Research Journal in collaboration with the MOE Teacher Education Division in Melaka. Her expertise and discerning evaluation contributed to maintaining the scholarly rigor of the event, ensuring the dissemination of high-quality research in the field of teacher professionalism


Early Childhood Department Team Building
On August 3, 2022, Dr. Romarzila Omar actively participated in a team-building event organized for the Early Childhood Education Department, which included a variety of activities, particularly outdoor engagements. Her participation, which took place in the past, played a pivotal role in fostering team cohesion and creating a positive and collaborative atmosphere among department members. Through engaging in the outdoor activities, Dr. Romarzila contributed to enhancing interpersonal relationships and teamwork within the department. The team-building event was instrumental in promoting a sense of unity and camaraderie among the members.


Malaysia Family @ IPT
On December 8, 2022, Dr. Romarzila Omar actively participated in the Family Malaysia @ IPT event held at Tuanku Chancellor Hall in UPSI. The event, which took place in the past, was graced by the presence of the Prime Minister, Minister of Higher Education, Minister of Perak, KSU, and other dignitaries. Dr. Romarzila involvement added value to the event, showcasing her commitment to community engagement. The presence of University Student Representative Council members further enriched the occasion, fostering a collaborative environment between students and prominent figures. The event underscored the importance of unity and cooperation within the educational community.


Faculty of Human Development Degree student orientation
During the Faculty of Human Development Degree student orientation, which took place in the past, Dr. Romarzila actively participated. The orientation, necessitated by the constraints of Covid-19, was conducted through the online platform Webex. Dr. Romarzila's involvement in the orientation contributed to a meaningful introduction for the degree students, providing them with essential information and insights. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, the Webex format allowed for effective communication and engagement during the orientation sessions. The event successfully addressed the unique circumstances, ensuring a smooth transition for the students into the Faculty of Human Development.
